Sham takes her name from the heart of modern-day Syria, the capital, Damascus. At the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Bilad-ash-Sham refered to the modern Levant area, and was considered a blessed land for its people, soil, products, and religiousity.

Unique thought! You can’t find dolls that represent islam the way this one does. I got this as a gift to my niece and she absolutely loves it; it makes sense to her and it raises her to be confident and proud of the way muslim woman dress. The doll is also unique in that it can be dressed and undressed but would always be decent. I really hope ww had more things like this for our kids. This is a MUST have for every muslim child!!!
